Before co-founding Prospect and Oval Insights with James, Gordon worked as a consultant for the Rugby Football Union, running analytical projects supporting coaching staff. Alongside analytical work at the RFU, Gordon graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Economics and Politics and spent six years at Oakwell Sports Advisory. While at Oakwell, Gordon advised CVC Capital Partners on their investments into Premiership Rugby, United Rugby Championship and Six Nations Rugby.
Gordon is responsible for overseeing the business development, commercial and strategic functions of Prospect.
Gordon has had a significant passion for sport since he can remember and follows a whole variety of sports and teams, from the NRL through to the US, including his much loved Virginia college basketball team.
