Nic joined the Prospect team in January 2024. After studying Engineering at Exeter University, Nic joined Williams Racing in 2018 as a graduate before progressing into the role of Race Strategy Engineer.
This position involved the planning and implementation of the race strategy across each Formula One weekend, including the timing of pit stops and tyre selection. Alongside this, Nic completed an MSc in Operations Excellence and was awarded the Rolls-Royce award for his thesis titled ‘Facilitating effective communication within high-performance sports teams’.
Following his time in Formula One, Nic joined Aberdeen Football Club as a Lead Data Scientist, working closely with the Director of Football, Head of Recruitment and First Team Manager to oversee the identification, integration and application of quantitative and qualitative analysis to support player transfer activity. Moving forward, Nic is motivated to lead the implementation and delivery of Prospect’s football performance solutions across a range of client groups.
