Having joined us in June 2023, Patrick works as a Data Scientist at Prospect. He originally studied History and Economics, then worked jobs ranging from chef in a Spanish restaurant to policy analyst at a housing association.
Eventually, Patrick realised the skills he wanted to develop and decided to undertake an MSc in Data Science. He continued his studies and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science alongside his role at Prospect.
Patrick focuses on developing and implementing algorithms to reveal properties of graphs, aiming to finish in the autumn of 2024. Patrick uses his skills to develop and maintain Prospect’s models and hopes to use his knowledge to develop rich insights into the structure and patterns over various sports. As a failed (and failing) football, rugby and cricket player, Patrick spends his time watching test cricket, arguing with his brothers over who gets to go to Anfield, and attempting to cook the perfect Spanish tortilla.
